Many research groups and cancer foundations are having severe clinical and financial problems related to the COVID-19 virus. Donations are down. Patient visits are down. This is a problem for entities with high bureaucratic, administrative, or marketing overhead.
WCRF is a lean foundation. Our low overhead and careful management of our endowed funds are working beautifully. We are continuing to expand our research capacity. The biotech/pharma community appreciates knowing that they have a solid, long-term, committed partner to work with. Our donors can remain confident that their donations truly go to research that has the potential to improve cancer cure rates for women’s cancer.
